“Among the Trees,” a site-specific theatrical production at Quinta da Ribafria in Sintra, Portugal, is an artistic experience that invites the audience to slow down, breathe, and feel the nature that surrounds us. The easily accessible trail allows visitors to listen to stories, personal accounts, and scientific facts about the trees. Through a poetic and visual approach, the audience follows two artists while listening to soundscapes and information through headphones. It is an immersive experience, whose creative process was guided by the question “if trees could talk, what would they say?”—an experience that will undoubtedly bring the public closer to trees and their ecosystems.
