To the Earth’s trees, with love
In late 2025, amidst increasing ecological disaster and the growing climate crisis, we sent out a satellite call. If trees could talk, what would they say? Tell us through a postcard, and then mail it to us. At first we weren’t sure if artists would answer the call, or if they would even find it to begin with.
Now we’ve received over 500 postcards from more than 50 countries across all continents. This postcard project, which adds all these beautiful artworks to a collection we began in 2024 during the first If Trees Could Talk International Art Biennale, has proven one thing: how hope, and the promise of it, will always bring people together.
And so we invite you to a journey with artists from all over the world: love letters, apologies, and messages of hope to our trees, who have served as silent witnesses of civilizations past and present.
